Pau Bhaji

with No Comments

We could all use a little bit of comfort now, couldn’t we? Whether it’s used an antidote for the cold climate, as a way to feel closer to the ones we love or simply to use up those leftover veggies in the fridge, this Pau Bhaji is the epitome of family comfort food!

No matter how many people you have sitting around your table, it’s a warming treat that is as delicious as it is healthful.

If you prefer less heat, don’t add the fresh green chilly, kashmiri chilli powder or garam masala. Serve with crusty sourdough bread, finely chopped red onions, coriander and a generous squeeze of lemon juice.

Sautéed Green beans, the Gujarati way

with No Comments

These delicately spiced green beans are a lovely way to incorporate Surya Prana Nutrition Organic Turmeric and Black Pepper Powder into your diet. Green beans are a great source of vitamin K, which helps to maintain bone strength, and they also contain heart protective nutrients like vitamin A and C. I like to serve this dish with fresh millet and fenugreek rotli and a seasonal kachumber.
Serve with some fluffy basmati rice or freshly made roti and a delicious lassi made with homemade yogurt.
