Nature knows best and eating according to the cycle of nature promotes health and vitality 🌟.
Seasonal fruit and vegetables give our body what it needs to adapt to the changes in our environment. They are available in abundance, nutritionally dense and usually much better value for money!

With the warmth of the summer sun☀️,light water-filled fruits and vegetables are ideal to keep us hydrated throughout the month of August

Plums and cherries are at their juiciest and most delicious this month and a lovely variety of lettuce, watercress, spinach, rocket, chard, beet leaves, beans (broad, green and runner) will give us the diversity we need to support our gut health, as well as delicious variety for our summer salads.

If you are not sure how to get started with seasonal eating or are limited with time, a great practical tip is to subscribe to a box scheme.

I have deliveries from @riverford who offer a wonderful variety of local, seasonal produce. They introduce you to new fruits and vegetables as they come into season and encourage you to eat more locally, seasonally and to get more creative in the kitchen.
