Turmeric Spiced Bliss Balls

As the colder months set in and winter approaches, our bodies crave warmth and comfort. This is a time when we tend to seek out nourishing foods that provide us with energy and warmth to sustain us throughout the day.

As a holistic practitioner, I believe that we can find a balance between nourishing our bodies and satisfying our cravings during the winter months. By choosing nutrient-dense foods that provide us with the necessary energy and nutrients, we can maintain our health and well-being even during the colder months.

It's also important to remember that hunger can manifest in many ways. It's not just physical hunger that we need to be aware of, but also emotional hunger, which can lead to cravings for comfort foods that may not be the best for us. By being mindful of our hunger and cravings, we can make intentional choices that support our health and well-being.

So, let's embrace the colder months with open arms, nourishing ourselves with foods that provide comfort and warmth while also supporting our health and vitality. With a little bit of intention and awareness, we can make the most of the winter season and come out feeling nourished and energised.

In addition to turmeric, this Turmeric Spiced Bliss Ball recipe also includes almonds, pistachios, and coconut, all of which are nutrient-dense foods that provide healthy fats, protein, and fibre. These bliss balls make for a perfect snack or dessert that will satisfy your sweet tooth while providing your body with nourishment and energy.
